As you may have guessed- I LOVE PINK!! Yup, I sure do! To me, pink is more than just a pretty color. It inspires me, cheers me up, and brightens my mood. We all get inspired by many different things and even though there are many things that inspire me on a daily basis- the color Pink is definitely one of them <3
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
- Hope you all are having a wonderful week so far!

My mom’s birthday was this weekend and we wanted to do something extra special to celebrate! She is such an amazing mom,a true inspiration to me. I am so blessed to have her as my mom We love dinner shows and anything to do with Disney so we went to our first Luau!! At Disney’s Polynesian Resort they have an enchanting luau with Polynesian dancing and a family-style feast.
It was an amazing time and the the food was incredible! It had all you can eat authentic dishes, like Island pulled pork, BBQ ribs, roasted chicken and Polynesian rice and the best virgin pina colada I have ever had :) The best part was dessert- warm pineapple bread pudding with caramel sauce! So yummy!!! And the show featured spellbinding dancers, drummers and a show-stopping fire-knife performer!
Everyone had an amazing time and my son, Liam can’t stop talking about the fire performance! They taught you have to hula and other Polynesian songs and dances! Here are some of my favorite pictures of the evening. If you all ever have an opportunity to go there I completely recommend, you will not be disappointed
By the way my entire outfit is from Dreaming in Pink- Tres Chic Pink Ruffle Skirt and Sparkling Light White Blouse Aloha
Happy Valentines Day Friends!!
Valentines Day is right around the corner and I was so excited to start my wreath. I LOVE wreaths, I have one for almost every month of the year. But I hadn’t ever made a Valentines one so I found some inspiration for one on Pinterest and was super excited to try it out! And it came out so PRETTY!! What’s better than tulle and Valentines Day? Nothing It was so easy and cheap and I had a blast doing it. Wanna see how I made it? Read below!!
So this is all you need to get started:
- 8 Styrofoam wreath
- Tulle (I was tempted to use Pink but Red screams Valentines Day)** I used 3 rolls of 25 yards of tulle
- ribbon to match
- tape measure
- glue gun
- Using your tape measure cut your tulle into strips. I cut mine into 16″ strips but you can cut them shorter or longer depending on how big you want your wreath to be.
- Then tie them on! I just did a double knot but you can do what ever you like best. Fill the wreath and make it as puffy and fluffy as you want! I made mine very fluffy!
- Add embellishments! I just walked around the craft store Valentines Day aisle until I found a couple things I liked. I just hot glued them on and let them dry.
- Last use a ribbon around it to hang on your door or use a door hanger as I did!
I have double front doors at my house so I had double the fun making two wreaths.
When I was done with the wreath I trimmed up the tulle some. I had the tulle way too long. But keep it long or make it shorter, no matter what it will look great! I love this wreath, even my husband and my son love it!! Fun and easy
Happy Valentines Day to you all!!!
Hello Friends and Happy New Year!
I hope everyone has had a magical 2014 so far!! I had a blast with my friends taking a painting class and wanted to share some pictures of it. It was one of my best friends birthday and we celebrated by going to a painting class. It is called “Coffee and Canvas”, you drink coffee while painting, such a great idea right?! I had taken a painting class last year with my husband for Valentines and I was super excited to try it out again! It was a blast, if you had not tried one before I encourage you do try it. Even if you don’t paint or aren’t artsy- you can still have fun! My friends all painted a beautiful tree but I love dolphins and saw a painting of a dolphin and wanted to try it out. I think it came out pretty good!! My sister painted a hello kitty, even the guys had fun. I love how everyone can paint the same thing and the final result can all look different. We all did such a great job but more importantly we laughed and enjoyed every second of it and can’t wait to go again! We found the class on groupon.com!! Who doesn’t love groupon right? I am attaching the link below for anyone who lives in the Orlando area and wants to check it out.
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
**Happy Birthday to one of my best friends and the sweetest person I know, Rehanna!! love ya so much!!
